iCams Review

Not gonna lie, when I entered icams.com, I definitely thought that I was on yellow pages or some shit like that due to the colors that the site uses.

However, as my gaze went further down the page, I was quite delighted to see a bunch of hot babes who are craving for some attention from strangers that stumble upon their live webcam sex shows on the internet.

Simple effective design

I really like it when webcam sites don’t complicate their design too much. Sites like this are made for adult content, not some fancy shit for that serves as an online retail store, keeping it simple is how things should be.

While it might sound a bit hypocritical from time to time, as  I do hate when all adult sites look similar to each other with minor differences, this site definitely proves that even if things are simple, they can also look unique.

Registering is super easy

Before I got into any further browsing of this site, I decided to register. I was surprised that I wasn’t even taken to a new tab, as all I had to do is fill up the username, e-mail, and password.

After doing so, the site automatically logged me in and took me to the page to purchase some tokens. I wasn’t immediately planning to purchase any, so I returned back to the homepage.

Great category options

From a plethora of cam sites that I have seen, I have to admit, that the categories on this one definitely have to be one of the best. They are located on the left side on the homepage, and you can easily filter models appropriately based on those categories.

One thing that I find extremely weird, is that there is a “sort by” option above the first model, and the options are to sort by features, high quality and audio. No matter what I chose, the cams were listed in the same way, so if someone can explain what the fuck that option does, do tell me.

Thumbnails are snapshots from live shows

Something that I really like is when the thumbnails for live shows are snapshots of the live shows that are currently going on. I really fucking hate that permanent profile picture bullshit, and I am glad this site doesn’t have any of those.

However, I do admit that there is room for improvement, as when I hovered my mouse over the thumbnails, I didn’t get the live show to play instead of the static thumbnail. Can’t win them all right?

Easily identifiable live show features

While I did say that the site’s design is pretty good, what makes things even better are the icons that are located under the thumbnails of live shows. This really helped me identify what the shows offer, and what kind of quality can I expect from them.

Something that pretty much all shows have is the audio icon, which honestly is a bit confusing, since sometimes even models without this icon would have sound, and they would talk as well. Weird shit.

The HD icons are quite helpful if you are looking for a live webcam sex show that you can watch in amazing quality, and of course, the private text icon is helpful to avoid entering chatrooms where you need tokens to join in.

There is a special icon that only icams.com has to my knowledge, and that is the icon for Connexion, which is pretty much a lush toy that a lot of models on this site use.

Easy interactions with model’s sex toys

After I entered a show where the model had the icon I just mentioned, I got a pop-up over her cam that I can click anywhere on her cam in order to give her vibrations from the sex toy that is already inside of her.

Naturally, each click would automatically drain coins, which I did not have on me at the time. I would call that lucky, because while I do think this feature is cool, having such a big area can easily lead to a miss click.

Of course, even if you accidentally click on the cam window, you will make the model moan in pleasure from the vibrations from the toy.

You can still accidentally spend credits instead of using them for a request of whatever the fuck you want. You get my point, right? There should be a small button for this instead, that’s my point.

Some rooms are locked if you have no tokens

I noticed that a lot of models lock their rooms to users that have no tokens, and when you enter their live show, you are automatically sent to the shop section of the site. While this makes sense, it would be nice if there is some kind of fucking indication that you need tokens to enter the room, to begin with.

Model profiles are overall alright

Once I checked out all the core features that the site offers, I decided to see how the profiles look. I immediately noticed that pretty much all models happen to have a fan club, which grants videos and photos from previous nude sessions, along with some other features.

Other than that, you can find out basic info about the models, check out some free photos, and the ones I looked at during my browsing session for the review, also had a tipping menu in their bio, which is extremely helpful.

In general, I really think that icams.com is a very underrated cam site, and the only thing that it lacks is more models. Half of the ones that are online are either in a private session, a nude show, or simply lock out their shows to users without tokens, which explains the low number of viewers on the site.
